Requirements
A relevant bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Management, Operations, Engineering, Automotive Management or a related discipline is preferred. Minimum five (5) years of management experience in a large, diverse or complex operational environment. Advanced proficiency in MS Office. Good communication, interpersonal skills with a strong grasp of business principles. Strong leadership presence, integrity, resilience and the ability to influence at all levels. Responsibilities include: Provide clear leadership and direction to a large, multidisciplinary team through departmental managers and team leaders. Ensure employment practices, rosters, leave management and employee relations matters comply with company policy and applicable law. Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, monthly performance reviews and corrective action planning. Identify sustainable growth opportunities and apply creative commercial thinking while maintaining strong controls and ethical standards. Lead sales planning, management, conversion, fleet activity, stock turn and customer follow-up. Ensure pricing, valuation, trade-in, discount, demonstrator, registration and delivery processes comply with approved policy. Ensure repair orders, warranty claims, estimates, customer approvals and vehicle release controls are complete and accurate. Champion an end-to-end customer experience across every department and customer touchpoint. Oversee safe and efficient workshop operations, appointment capacity, technician productivity, quality control and Fix-it-Right performance. Oversee safe, compliant and commercially sound panel, body and paint operations. Maintain the dealership risk register and complete required ERM reviews, control testing and action closure. Provide accurate, timely and transparent reports, including prompt escalation of bad news, emerging risk and material performance gaps.
