Legal Officer

Bachelor of Laws and Professional Diploma in Legal Practice. A minimum of 5 years' post-admission experience as a Barrister & Solicitor with a current, valid and unrestricted Practicing Certificate. Proven experience in litigation, contract law, conveyancing, co commercial transactions and regulatory interpretation. Sound understanding of legislation relevant to financial institutions. In-depth knowledge of: Contract law and contract management, Bank compliance obligations, Civil litigation processes, Conveyancing and security documentation. Strong ability to manage multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Demonstrated initiative, strategic thinking, and a sense of ownership in work responsibilities. Commitment to professional conduct and ethical standards, alway s ensuring the Bank's legal position is protected at all times and strengthened in all forums - Court, negotiations, and internal discussions. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify key legal l and commercial issues and offer practical solutions to Management.
